Rabbi Joseph is pleased to serve these Texas congregations

Temple Beth Israel, Harlingen

TEMPLE BETH ISRAEL  is an egalitarian community synagogue serving Harlingen, Texas, and  surrounding areas. The synagogue is a warm and welcoming group of  friends, many of whose families founded the temple in the 1950s. About  60 families are affiliated today, and the congregation is growing. Beth  Israel offers religion and Hebrew classes for children. A renovated  school building behind the synagogue houses four classrooms, a library,  and an office. Rabbi Joseph directs the school and conducts services  once a month at Temple Beth Israel. He also conducts various holiday and  festival services, including High Holy Days. Temple Beth El, Corsicana

TEMPLE BETH EL  — magnificent home to the reform Jewish community in Corsicana, Texas,  for 82 years before it closed in 1980 — once again rings with the sounds  of Jewish worship.

Jews from the surrounding communities meet  one Friday evening a month for services when the building is available. A  brief Jewish studies program is usually conducted before services.

Rabbi  Frank Joseph is pleased and proud to continue the community tradition  established by his father, Rabbi Ernest Joseph, who served Corsicana for  more than 30 years until his death in 1999.Call for dates and times 214-293-6515.
